School Zone Speed Cameras | Important Reminder
The City of Orlando’s new School Zone Speed Camera program begins its warning period October 5. Vehicles traveling more than 10 mph over the speed limit in an active school zone may be captured by camera, and the registered owner will receive a mailed warning. No ticket will be issued during the warning period.
Beginning November 30, eligible violations will be subject to a $100 civil penalty, with no points added to the driver’s Florida license.
Please slow down, watch for school zone signs and flashing yellow lights, and help keep our neighborhood streets safe.
Trinity Downtown Pumpkin Patch | October 10–31
The Pumpkin Patch is back at Trinity Downtown, 123 E. Livingston Street. Stop by throughout October to pick out a pumpkin and enjoy this neighborhood fall tradition.
St. James School Trivia Night
St. James Cathedral School Trivia Night is coming up on Saturday, October 24, at the SJCS Assembly Hall, 505 E. Ridgewood Street.
Doors open at 4:30 PM, with trivia beginning at 6:30 PM.
Teams are 6–8 adults (21+), and individual registrations are welcome. You’ll be grouped with a team if needed. Pick a team name, dress to match your theme, and decorate your table for even more fun.

Orange County Animal Services returns to Lake Eola Park for Barktoberfest, featuring adoptable pets from local rescue groups, pet-related vendors, food trucks, and other activities.

Stroll the luminary walk connecting Eola General, Broadway United Methodist Church, Lake Eola Heights Community Garden, and the SOS Meditation Center. Enjoy live music, heavy bites, ice cream, Passport Through the Heights, prizes, KiddiEola activities, and time to connect with neighbors, local partners, and City of Orlando police and fire representatives.
